Today, I’m excited to share all the different lighting fixtures I’ve carefully accumulated for each room of my house. From chandeliers that make a statement in the dining room to cozy floor lamps perfect for reading in the living room, I’ve got a little bit of everything.
These could work for beach house lighting, master bedrooms, everyday homes and more. The sky is the limit for these nautical styles!
Lighting plays such a huge role in setting the mood and style of a room. Whether it’s the soft glow of sconce light fixtures in the hallway or the bright, inviting feel of pendant lights in the kitchen, each piece has been picked to create the perfect ambiance. So, grab a cup of coffee and join me as I take you through my favorite lighting finds in my home!
Kitchen and Dining Room Lighting
First up, let’s check out the kitchen and dining room spaces! I’ve got quite a few pieces in this area because it’s the focal point of my home. We spend the most time here, so it only makes sense that I make it extra special.
The chandelier over the dining table is still in stock and I’m linking it here! It is more of a splurge but as you can see it is a true show stopper! I know we’ll have it for years and it brings me so much joy.
In the photo above, you can see a glimpse at the light fixtures displayed over the kitchen island. Especially when you have an all white kitchen, you need some larger, gorgeous light fixtures to make it pop. Here is an option that is super similar if you want to recreate this look.
These nautical pendant lights go so perfectly over any type of countertop you might have on your island. They are so easy to style, too! There is plenty of opportunity for fun vases, baskets, or other kitchen decor items.
If you take a look towards the far left side of the above image, you’ll find these sconce lighting fixtures attached to the wall. I snapped a close up for you down below of these lighting choices.

Moving right along, let’s take a look at the lighting over the kitchen sink. If you aren’t familiar with rattan, it’s one of the most amazing natural materials to decorate with for a coastal style. While I don’t think my exact one is available still, I’ve found another scalloped rattan option that would be a stunner over your kitchen sink.
Now that we have covered most of the kitchen and dining area, let’s move on to the extension of the kitchen, the mudroom!
Mudroom Lighting
You are probably going to want something mounted or more subtle in this space. There’s no need for huge decorative chandeliers here. A flush mount or semi-flush mount seem to work best.
This light fixture is a semi-flush mounted option that comes in under $500. It’s a best seller and I can see why. It’s worked perfectly for us in this space and is a practical option. I could also see it working well over a simple kitchen table.

Entryway/Foyer Lighting
There is a ton of different ways to decorate an entryway but chances are you’ll have a table somewhere. If so, a lamp is a must! I’m going to feature two different lighting options for a foyer. First, this gold leaf lamp is so chic. It actually comes in a two pack so you’ll have a second one to find another place for in your home.

Bedroom Lighting
Of course you probably have some overhead lighting in your bedroom, but to create a cozy ambiance I’d recommend having plenty of lamps to use instead when you need a bit of relaxation.
Again, rattan is so easy to style and makes for the perfect coastal look. For a similar look to these matching lamps, try this option from none other than Target. This is the setup in my daughter’s bedroom, but I love rattan just about anywhere.
Remember the golden lamp from the foyer? As I mentioned before, it comes in a two pack so it’s a great idea to use one in a guest bedroom.

Finally, this darling little lampshade is also in my daughter’s bedroom. I love how it has a slightly vintage look and coastal vibe. There are so many coastal table lamps to choose from!
Living Room Lighting
A good floor lamp is a must for a living room with a coastal feel! This enables you to read, catch up with a magazine, or just relax in the space. While this rattan lampshade might not be in stock anymore, I have found a super similar option for you.
I found the rattan round lamp you see below years ago so can’t find it online anymore. However, I’ve sourced some comparable items here, here, and here. They add nice and quaint coastal touches and are a pretty decorative lighting option.
I still wanted to include it because you might run into something similar at TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, or other similar stores. You never know what unique pieces you will run into!
